Here is Australia Scott 125. It originally appeared in the Recent Stamp Purchases thread. I'm posting it here at the request of an SCF member.

An iconic design down here!

Nice to see another member whose parents had excellent taste in first names

Nice Stamp.
Can see no flaws at all.
Postmarked SYDNEY AIR (Not seen before, that I recall) 19th December 1940.
Lookout for: Redrawn Die (has 1 line between value circle and two shillings)
Use: Higher Telegram, parcel and Bulk Postage.

A member contacted me regarding

Quote:

Robert's stamp is the Sc#125
(2 lines between value circle and Two shillings)

My comment (Lookout for) was for collectors to check for 1 single line, which indicates a redrawn die (as it is referred to).
I attempt to assist collectors to identify varieties.

Hope that clarifies.

Differences between original and re-drawn die, as detailed in the ACSC catalog. I find the other clues (Tasmania coastline, Gulf shading lines) to be pretty useful.
