They are from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea.

The UPU stamp is #1238, Scott listed only as a set (#1236-8). The glider is #1379, Scott listed only as a set (#1379-83).

Daughter suggests that the liberator (NK) is being greeted with flowers by the liberated (SK).
