It was discovered in my friend's recently deceased uncle's very formidable safe(and I mean FORMIDABLE)... Thing is, the only items in said safe were this and a George Washington 2 cent stamp thought to be a Scott 595... I would just like an honest, unbiased opinion as to whether I should have this stamp looked at by an appraiser and possibly sent off to be Certified? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Pics would help. I would say that the odds are slim to none that they are 594 or 596 if they do not have certificates with them already but lets take a look.
