I recently received this unusual shade of the £1, it was caused by an accidental mixing of too much black with the blue ink

Steel blue (cobalt)

Very nice. I have a big problem seeing the 'roller flaw' though.

Thanks, it is a difficult but rewarding project when you see the shades come together, there are still a few to collect and unlisted shades that may surface every now and then, the 17 so far had taken just over 5 years to collect.

It's a pleasure displaying them, and they do look impressive, apart from the coronation collection these stamps are one of my favourites.
