This is the correct orientation and the state name is between the two marked lines in red, printed as
Jamba Kashmir in Takri script of Dogri language, one of the 2 state languages (the other being Farsi) of the Indian feudatory state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The inscriptions preceding the state name are
Mahsul Dak Kalamrab.
Mahsul#8594;Charge/Duty/Tax
Dak#8594;Post
Kalamrab#8594;Realm
Thus completely it reads
Mahsul Dak Kalamrab Jamba Kashmir i.e. Postal Charge/Duty/Tax of the State of Jammu Kashmir.
The same inscriptions are printed in the center but in Farsi.
The denomination is printed in Dogri as
Adha Ana (i.e. Half Ana) between the two helioform designs in the upper region of the elliptical annulus and in Farsi as
Nim Ana (i.e. Half Ana) at the bottom of the central elliptical panel.
I cannot post the exact orthographic transcriptions of Dogri and Farsi writing in the stamp as SCF does not support Unicode.
