Hello From Hampton, England

Hello everyone

I am new to this forum, but not to philately.

Been collecting on and off for over 40 years and since I retired last year, (Was a police officer, who completed 32 years service) I became a full time stamp dealer. (Did it part time for 12 years).

My favourite subject, postmarks.


Areas of speciality: The Rhodesia's, Australian States, Australia, BWI, German Colonies and anything that catches my eye.

I am the Treasuer and President of my local club, Treasurer of the local county Fderation, Auctioneer for the Rhodesia Study Circle, Auctioneer and Publications Stockholder for the British Society of Australian Philately.


The best thing about Philately, I am always learning. The rich history dating back pre stamp to the present. Finding new postmarks, rare offices, proving covers and treating everyone with respect.
