Good day folks,
can someone tell me why this Italian Stamp has a stamp with a five pointed star ?
I asked because I saw a similar one on a web site.
Also, is this an overprint from some occupied country ?
Is this stamp valuable ?

A star like this is a common symbol for many countries of the world, Italy is not an exception. I believe some of their stamps have star watermark. My guess would be this is a regular cancel, but I'm not a specialist in the area. But I'm pretty sure this stamp has no monetary value.

If by "stamp with a five pointed star" you mean an overprint, no it looks like part of the cancellation, it's the same color and density of ink as the rest of the cancel. As to whether it's valuable, it appears to be Scott 224, from the set of definitives issued between 1929 and 1942, and has a catalogue value of the Scott minimum: 25 cents used. The cancellation appears to show the date of December 9th, 1938. (in most of the world outside of the US, the day comes before the month in the depiction of dates, ie 9/12/38 is December 9th, not September 12th)

The five pointed star is part of the cancel. On a complete cancel, the star would appear on both sides of the cancel usually separating the town name from that of the province - in this case I'd take a gamble with Gallarate (town) Varese (province). The star is also used in other countries for the same reason while others may use a bar, dash or dot.

As Moose suggested, part of the design of the cancelling hammer.
These devices (stars, crosses etc) were referred to as "Fleurons"

Italy does have strong significance to the Star, but would be conjecture to join the two, in significance.
