I am interested in this German cancel and have skimmed a few of the related cancel threads and searched on a few key terms but have not seen anything.
I even tried Stamspx.com but no luck.

Please do inform me.

Listed in Bochmann as Stolp 1.

Translates as "The City of Stolper Jungchen" (per Rod below, a type of Camembert Cheese), so it's supposed to be a small boy, not a jockey (though it does look like a jockey to me!).

And there you are PostmasterGS! Now that I can see him and his walking stick I like it even more. Thank you so much. I will now go look at my map.

Lots to learn about Stolp, now called Slupsk and part of Poland.

It does remind one of a small boy with a walking stick and a backpak. He even has the cap similar to a member of a cub or boy scout troop.

Cheese advertising (Tourism) Pmk?
It is a boy with a walking stick (hiker?)

"Stolper Jungchen" was a Camembert cheese made in Stolp.

Further step down in translation / understanding...The City of Stolp Camembert Cheese.

Sure enough. Good find, Rod. I've updated my original response.

Very true Rod. Maybe a future project?
Thank you again for the fascinating journey. I truly enjoyed the path it took and what I learned along the way. And it all started with a little figure on a cancel on a German stamp from the 1930s.
