Welcome to Stamp Community Forum!
You cannot buy/sell/trade here until you have at least 50 quality posts.
Can you utilize a different picture hosting site? I can't see your pics unless I jump through some hoops and download them. Many of us don't like all those extra clicks, especially if we are not sure exactly what that click will do. Plus, it makes me go through an initial delay countdown while loading the page. I'm guessing that's to encourage you to pay for the premium hosting instead of the free hosting. But if you want us to look at those pics, I really don't want to have to wait each time. |

Hello rubadub....
Welcome to the club....
I agree, clicking possibly questionable links can make some hesitant, and as mentioned you must have 50 posts before buying or selling.......but, the items you mention are very collectible in decent condition and could be well worth the effort.

Use photobucket. I won't download from any site I don't know.
I am interested in seeing your covers though. |

I saw one of your group shots after a lengthy delay, and I really couldn't see enough detail on most of the items. Until you can find a more suitable file host, I would recommend that you upload half a dozen pictures of individual stamps attached to your post, instead of a group shot. SCF has a roughly 90kB file size limit for uploading. That is for EACH picture, not total. |

Hello rubadub.......
The full covers have a few condition problems but they definitely have value to collectors. I don't see anything of value in the loose stamps, if that is all you have I would just give them away. If/when you decide to list the covers I would like to know about it. Do you have any more ? |

yeah didnt think many of teh stamps would be interesting but in the second to last picture theres a loose stamp, with words svensk-finland, man standing with flag, this one caught my eye particularly? must be quite old cos sweden didnt claim to rule finland after the 1900s I think? |

That does not look like a stamp......it's a cinderella of some sort. It's not listed under Finland, Sweden or Germany so it's odd to see the strip of 3 on the German cover dated 1923. |

It is not listed in the Scott catalogs which are the definitive catalogs for collectors in the US. It could be a local, Scott does not list very many, it would be something only used in a certain area, it looks to show a hi-lighted area of Sweden/Finland........could you post a better image of it ? |

Quote: it looks to show a hi-lighted area of Sweden/Finland Tom is correct, it is a cinderella produced for Swedes living in Finland. It is not Scott listed. |

This is a poster stamp issued by the Swedish People's Party in 1922. I was interested in the Flag and it is the Flag of the Swedish-Speaking Finns !
