Hi

This one has got me stumped.

Is it a single digit or a double digit?

Gettinold,
nice scan, but try and show both sides of the stamp please, for both numbers.
Could be 72, or 73?

Rod

Here is a scan of the entire stamp and a close-up of the side. I wasn't able to gain any info from the other side of the stamp.

Gettinold,
sorry, can only guess.
The Central figure the 3 digit numeral, say 103, the zero is where Her Majesty'd lips / mouth are.
As is the first numeral of a 2 digit number, and it translates flipped the other side. In your case a 7.
I am guessing 72 but only that, a guess....... 14% accuracy

Cannot be Plate 70,75, or 77.

Here is Plate 89, showing easily the locations.

Not 77 for sure. I have a 71 which I thought was 77.

Thank you.

I feel your pain. The 7 was easy to spot. Guessing on the second digit is probably the default setting for many of these stamps.
