Have a Revenue Stamp I believe has silk fibers in it. Don't have much experience in this area and need informed opinions. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. I thought the silk fibers were colored fibers. I saw the listing in the catalog and it only listed different colored paper. No mention of paper with fibers in either of the colored papers.

Actually, there is no RB8c in Scott, just RB8a (violet and intermediate paper, catalog value $1,000) and RB8b (green paper, catalog value $850).

I believe this is the former, although without examining it in hand I cannot be certain. The first image looks like a violet paper but the last shows a green hue, so I cannot tell which color is accurate. The actual green paper is very vibrant.

The vignette looks to be sepia, which would make it a green paper. Violet paper vignettes are black.
