Hi

Some early US Stamps are plated by philatelists. They use features of individual stamps which are unique to that stamps plate position to identify a particular stamps original position on a sheet. Is that practice also used for this Prince Edward Island stamp? Reason I ask is I have a number of sheets of this stamp and upon reviewing them I notice features on some of them which are constant for their plate position. These features would be considered imperfections. Since the sheets only contain 30 stamps I imagine these would be common varieties. None of the stamps have the feature of the stamp in the OP. Scott catalog I am using doesn't go into great detail on this Prince Edward Island stamp as far as varieties go.
