I recently received my 2018 US album pages from Mystic. Is it now their policy to mix comms and drfs on the same page? I like it. Sometimes the distinction seemed to me very arbitrary.

Wow. Next thing we know we will be using the metric system and drive on the right side of the road! Oh wait, we already do that last one!

Sounds like a good idea to me. I make my pages and put the stamps in chronological order, airs and dues included, just looks so much better to see the stamps grouped together from the various eras instead of being isolated in the back of an album. |

I don't think this is new. Checking quick my 2015-17 also mixes commemorative and definitives on the same page. |

Peter The Metric Conversion Act was signed into law on December 23, 1975 by President Gerald Ford. It declared the metric system "the preferred system of weights and measures for United States trade and commerce". You'll note how rapidly we've converted to the metric system. |

Re Metric System:
The biggest trading partner we have who uses the "English" system, which England no longer used, is Liberia. Using non-metric tools on most of the devices we buy is a real knuckle buster.

Mystic tends to be do layouts in catalog order (unlike they did back prior to 2000) and with fewer series they may just keep them as they to come out. They have always noted them with a separate heading. I prefer more chronological order but Scott does not always do it for series. |

After almost fifty years of metric, many of us still use Imperial. Even young people use stones/pounds, feet/inches for body weight and height respectively. |

Geoff, Thanks for posting that. I have read sime British books and the were still talking about miles, etc. I wondered if the text was modified for a US audience Sounds like it wasn't.
