Are you looking for used or unused (Mint)?

There are several commercial online venues such as ebay and hipstamp. Stamporama, another stamp discussion forum, has a section where you can purchase stamps.

Many post 1945 US stamps can be purchased below face value in lots if you are ok with getting some stamps you need.

One of the best ones in my opinion is APS' Stampstore and their circuits. You can get the circuits at home and see what you are buying,

Definitely for used stamps. I know ebay. But like you say.. possibley below face value. For low price stamps on ebay The time I pay 99 cent for a stamp plus shipping it gets rediculous when you need a few hundred. Mystic I can order everything but they as well have rediculous shipping cost and prices aren't the greatest. I'm not talking valuable stamps. Mainly fillers. 1930 to 1985. I will look into stamporama.. by the way, I didn't find this site. Don led me here.. Thanks everyone.

For common 20th century used stamps, you can buy them by the pound on ebay, either on piece or off.

I agree with Al, Stamporama is a good choice for buying/selling/trading inexpensive stamps. Because it is all volunteer and donated hosting, Stamporama does not mind the small transactions. I find the smaller community there a tight knit group and breaking into the group can be a bit challenging. But if you persist and after they get to know you, you should be able to fill plenty of those empty spaces.

If you have access to issues of Linn's Stamp News, there are hundreds of classified ads from people selling stamps as well as many larger ads from the major dealers.

I guess I don't get out as much as other people. I haven't heard of this site before, so I just joined.

There seems to be several members here that are also members there.

Now I have what looks like more than a few pages of text and images to read tonight.

Guess I'll get a beverage ready...
