I just discovered a plate block of 10 Scott #1702 with tagging omitted on the five right hand stamps. My Specialized Catalog is a 2012 edition. Can someone let me know if this error existd in the newest Specialized Catalog?
Tagging omitted is not as simple as it sounds. If not a trace of tagging is found you can report this to Scott at the Amos folks. You can start by reporting it to Linn's and they may want you to send them the block so they can verify
Scott 1703 is of the same design and it is known with tagging omitted. I.e., be sure you are looking at 1702 rather than 1703. If it is indeed a 1702, as Peter indicated, Linn's may be interested in looking at your stamp. Another option would be to have it certified by one of the expertizing services and, if the stamp is deemed a genuine error, e-mail a copy of the cert to Chad Snee.
