Just received the two volume catalog today and am impressed. A LOT of material. Will you be participating?

Can't answer you yet. I no longer get the print catalogs and the sale is not yet up on the web site (I just checked). |

Kelliher drives me crazy waiting so long to post their auctios. I spoke to the President and she told me if they send out catalogs too soon people lose them. I asked her about people that need to make travel plans and she had no answer. |

When is this auction? I don't get any of their catalogs any more, unlike Siegel which sends me every one, no matter how much money I have spent in the last auction. Such a pain to have to keep asking them to send one each and every time there is an auction. |

The auction is 29-30 March. I was surprised to receive the catalogs today since the auction is not yet posted. |

It's finally posted. I plan on viewing on Friday and probably sticking around for bidding on Saturday. |

I just looked at the auction online and the lack of photos drives me nuts. |

Couldn't possibly agree more. How can you spend 1000s on a paragraph. I'd rather pay for airfare than make a mistake. I'll make a list of 15-20 items to look at and usually end up with 80% no bids after I view the material and the items I love are often way down on my original list. Of course I'm looking at collections and I think individual items are a different thing. |

Just got finish looking at their website listing for this auction . Didn't find many unusual lots ,it looks like their typical stuff .
A few lots could be nice but not the auction that's going to have a huge bidders presence. What I am saying is every lot was the same as the last few auctions . |

One gets spoiled by ebay sellers that post many images - maybe too many to make it seem more. The descriptions are fairly brief as well on collections. |

Some llots I wouldn't mind having, but I don't want them so bad as to have to deal with Coogle. |

So far the bidding has been mixed, but a decent quantity of items were sold over estimate, some way over. I'll grant that they had some decent material in many lots, but the higher prices and the 20% tip would make it difficult for resale with anything but a narrow margin on a platform such as ebay where buyers are mostly bottom-feeders. I was tempted to pull the trigger on several lots but sobered up in time before I did. Oh well, the Harmer auction is a few days away and looks more promising...and then there's always Noble Spirit lol The cutsie-pie Kelleher auction calling really sticks in my craw, too... |

It's very busy today at Kelleher, I think every seat in the bidding room was taken and the viewing room was equally packed. I didn't see anything I had to have but I hope to pick up a couple items tomorrow. |
