Mara,
always be sceptical when viewing oddities on cancelled or used stamps,
there can be all sorts of weird things happen, stains, kids writing on them,
postmarks darkening the colour, etc etc ad nauseum.
Yours is just a normal stamp that has a stain, or a kid has began colouring in.
