I do not have catalog info for Belgium wrappers. It appears to mimic the King Leopold scott 65 perf stamp, with no perf for the tab. It is on thin paper and appears to be a wrapper.

Can anyone find catalog info on this?

I believe it's been cut from an envelope rather than a wrapper, probably H&G B-3 from 1893.

The same design was used in carmine on three later envelopes.

I think so to, now that you brought it up, the paper is thin, but not as thin as some wrappers and aerogramme impressions.

Thanks

This is part of a postal card with paid answer of 1893. Catalog number is Higgins and Gage #33.

Hi Peter,

Is there a reason you pick H&G #33 rather than #31 or the envelope H&G #B-3?
