What exactly is something like this worth? It's not in my personal collection but I was told its a filler condition example of a very rare stamp. Ideas?

Cheers!

It is a rare stamp, although I would not say it is extremely rare. Most space fillers will retail for 1-5% of catalog. The space filler in your pic is in pretty bad shape, so we're probably talking 1-2% tops.

I've got a couple. Let me see if I can pull them and scan them while I wait for my meds to settle down and get some zzz's.

My France #37 (left) and #37c (right). Looks like the ink used to cancel #37 was oily, and has spread and stained the stamp over time. Too bad, because otherwise the cancel would have been really great. The #37c has a few nibbed perfs. Considering what I paid for them, I really can't complain.

Cool! I much prefer the condition of those two!

I would think this is unfortunately of no value due to the torn off right corner

IMHO it does not meet even space filler requirements because of the missing corner, tears and creases. I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a filler.
