Thanks rod what you mean with first cover which date should it be?
My is a comb ok whats the difference to a line perforated stamp (sorry for my ignorance)?

No need to apologise for not knowing something, that's why we all abide here.

A "first day cover" (FDC) would be an envelope with your half penny green stamp aboard, cancelled on the day the stamp was released.

"Line Perf" are stamps perforated with 1 line of puncturing pins, they are punctured one way, the sheet of stamps are then rotated and punctured at 90 degrees. Corners often look raggedy.

Comb Perfs are semi Boxed perforation pins in an inverted "U" shape
no requirement for turning the sheet, Identified by a part hole in each corner of the stamp (looks like a dent in each corner)

I converted them to a minimal size to GIF format and cutted it.

*.jpg is the best format for posting here, should make your job a lot easier.

Rod you are right, both are perforated comb stamps not lines. Maybe another time. Thank you I learned something new from you.

If you're using Microsoft, open your image in Office, resize the picture to something around 600 x 700, then upload.

Consider being selective in your images, loads of pictures of common stamps is not conducive to a good post, when you get encouragement, you know your stamps are interesting, and you then continue.
