I noticed that there are 2 different varieties of the 2L1

a. Either half
b. Stamp composed of right half at left & left half at right

Which variety could this one be?

Also, I am curious if this, "2L1" is a genuine or a forgery.

Scan of front and back

2019 Scott Catalog listing

Thank you.

The one thing I am focusing on is the cancellation. My cancellation looks nothing like any of the other forged cancellations, I have noticed.

Thank you for the link.

It would be 2L1a, if it's genuine. That's the number for a single, left or right.

2L1b is when you have both stamps, but the order is reversed so the "10 - POST CANTONAL - Cent" reads like "TONAL - Cent 10 - POST CAN". Actually scarcer that way, people (post office workers or collectors/dealers) mostly cut them to keep the top inscription reading correctly.

Judging by the link with all the forgery pictures, it is not looking good so far.

Any thoughts about this one? It doesn't look like a genuine example, so would assume that this is a forgery. Did anyone have seen this forgery before, or have some information on the forger?
