The postmarks are similar to duplex postmarks, but the year date is outside the dial thus they are triplex postmarks.

Thank you, I did not know postmarks and precancels were different things.

One cancel is from the sending post office and should cancel the stamp, the other is normally from the receiving office.

prvte - I don't know much about Nashua, but it appears that this post card was posted (mailed) in 1909. In 1909 it appears that Nashua had a single post office (pictured https://www.google.com/search?q=nas...1280&bih=641 HERE), so the double cancellation within the same post office is certainly interesting. It was received at 1PM on 7 April and dispatched the same date at 5:30PM.

In 1909 Nashua had 1 post office. https://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=po...a%2C+NHNow there are 10? in the Nashua area.
