Greetings.

Am seeking resource/reference material regarding the Chilean postage stamp series know colloquially as "Presidents and Celebrities". This series first appeared in 1911 and continued into 1931.

Across the years it featured varieties in printing, watermarks, perforations, etc.

So far have found an article by Roy Lingen entitled, "Chile Presidents 1911 - 1931".

Thanks in advance.

Some follow up information.

Scott lists 25 varieties. SG and Michel each list 27. SOFICHE Chilean speciality catalogue) lists 234 varieties!

The "Seymour Family" website includes a display of the Hamilton Collection. Great visual reference.

The Sociedad Filatelica de Chile site includes link to downloadable versions of the entire run of "Chile Specialist". English-language newsletter which ceased publication in 2009. Have yet to find/locate an index.

Another valuable resource is classic latin america (no spacing) dot com.

The Philatelic Society of Chile has the "Chile Filatélico" magazine, which has been published since 1929, available online for free.
