Publisher Ch Barrillot, Editeur, Paris 16th Arrondissement, brings us the earliest, most aggressively philatelic, commercially published postcard that I have ever held in my hands.
Les plus beaux Timbres Authentiques => Very Beautiful Authentic Postage Stamps
Sadly, unused and, therefor, sans postmark.

Perhaps the best stamp in the "set" is that very red 1901 definitive honoring Colonel Luis Vargas Torres (1855-1887) [who] was an Ecuadorian revolutionary and national hero and martyr in the cause of liberalism.

I read that postmark as 1902060(6) on the GUAYAQUIL & QUITO Rxxx, which I'm hoping means the G&Q railway:
Quote:... The Ferrocarriles del Ecuador Empresa Publica (FE EP) (Ecuadorian Railways Company) is the national railway of Ecuador. The railway system was devised to connect the Pacific coast with the Andean highlands. After many decades of service the railway was severely damaged by heavy rainfall during the El Nińo in 1997 and 1998 and from general neglect as the Pan-American Highway siphoned off passengers. In 2008 the president Rafael Correa named the railroad a "national cultural patrimony" and indicated that it would be restored. The government of Ecuador started to rehabilitate the railway and service was restored between Guayaquil and Quito by 2013 ...
