Polwarth is a breed of sheep that was developed in Victoria (Australia) in 1880 from one-quarter Lincoln and three-quarters Merino bloodlines. Here is an image of a stamp depicting three Polwarths, printed by lithography, and issued for use in Falkland Islands on January 19, 1981 as one of a set of four stamps in a domesticated mammals set, Scott No. 314, plus a photo of a flock of Polwarths.

The Icelandic goat, also known as the settlement goat, is an ancient breed of domestic goat (Capra hircus) believed to be of Norwegian origin and dating back to the settlement of Iceland over 1100 years ago. The Icelandic goats have a very small population (less than 1000) and are very rare outside its native land. They are kept mainly as pets.

The Damara is a breed of domestic sheep originally from Eastern Asia and Egypt. The breed then moved down to the present day Namibia and Angola. They are found in northwestern Namibia (Kaokoland) and southern Angola where they were herded relatively free from external influences.

Bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis) is a species of sheep native to North America. Rocky Mountain bighorns inhabit the mountains from Canada south to New Mexico. The horns of a Rocky Mountain bighorn can weigh 14 kilograms. The horns of females (ewes) are smaller in size.
