Hello everyone I have these stamps that I bought a while ago and I don't know if these are the correct I.D..
One stamp has perforations that look really tattered is this a special type of perf ,I was wondering.
Anyway I thought I would share these great looking stamps.

It is very confusing when there are no picture's in the Scott's catalog that I could see.

OK ,I guess I know what they aren't but what are they, I could say they are a r246 a r247 and a r248
The orange r246 is funny it has gum on the back and in the catalog it's suppose to be gum less.
Maybe they added gum to it?

Your R246, R247, and R248 are correct. Any gum would have been added by the user, not the Bureau of Engraving & Printing.

I have checked out the scott's catalog and they say the numerals of the R246 are supposed to have green numerals mine is a navy blue could that be wrong in the book maybe a mistake?
O.K. I have new info on this stamp it has a watermark could this then be a R282 now that it has a watermark .Check out the pic's

R246b is the variety with blue numerals.

R246, etc. have the same watermark. That detail is carried over from the previous listing, which is what catalogs do to save space. Scott states this in its introductory section, which you need to read and understand. It has a lot of important info, not just about how to use the catalog.
