I have no idea what's going on here. I tried looking them up but stamps are way more complex than coins. Ha!

Are any of these worth getting looked at or should I just put them away? I haven't untied the strings to look through the stacks, I don't want to touch them! In your opinion, what should I do with them?

Thank you!

There does not seem to be any monetary value here, Donate them to local stamp club or scouts?

The "bundles" are probably each multiple copies of the same stamp. "Bundleware" is a relic from back in the day when dealers would make and sell packets (e.g. "200 different Canada".) Having bundles of each stamp is a convenient way to create many all-different packets. Packet dealers would purchase "bundles" of 50 or 100 of the same stamp for some fixed price (a few cents, typically) and collectors would sell them their bundled duplicates.

"Bundleware" might be of modest interest to specialists in an issue, as they might contain any kind of cancellation or "flyspeck" varieties.

While those bundles probably contain multiple copies of the same stamp, there is always the chance of something interesting popping up. That's why flyspecking is so interesting.

Embot1987: welcome to the Forum. I would undo all the strings or whatever is holding the stamps together and transfer each bundle, loose, into an envelope, for now. If you are in the USA, you can likely get some envelopes quickly by utilizing reply envelopes from your junk mail. Bundling like this can damage the stamps. This will give you a better idea of what you have in those bundles. Stamps that are already damaged; corners bent over, maybe some pieces missing; can be discarded.

Someone mentioned "flyspecking." That is the art of looking for minor variations on a stamp, perhaps the color is lighter or darker (shade); perhaps there is a bit of ink missing in the design, or too much ink.

The German stamps are from the 1920s; were mass produced; and would be of little value.
