This was dug up out of old stock cards and I can not tell the color.

To be honest, the color doesn't matter more than other factors. I suspect you are thinking you have a 482A, deep rose. You don't.

You need to start with the engraving details to determine the "type", in this case a type I, which can only be 409 or 482 differentiated by watermark. Both catalog under $1, although you have a nice wide copy.

@John Becker. No not what I was thinking. I just want to know what it is. And stamps sell at different prices at different times. Seen many seigel auctions and so on to lots of things can happy when someone is willing to buy what you have. But thank John for the help. I just want to know what I have before sending in waiting money for PSE certs.

I love to certify things. This why I ask questions. Value and condition can mean good investment and some condition and cat. Can mean just a mother nice filler or pretty item. Just looking to gather information so I can understand what I own.
