KGV would be great...KGVI and KEVII a distant second...

I also wouldn't mind finishing out the 1936 Mexico federal set. I only have the "ladies of the evening" issue.

revstampman - I'd let you know what I am interested in buying/trading but I'm not sure what I have in the first place!

I bought a "cigar box" of Mexican stamps which includes a fair number of revenues and B.O.B.'s that are not in the standard Scott catalogs. I've also been running into the occasional revenue from other countries. What would be a good reference for these, especially the Mexicans?

Yesterday was a huge day for worldwide revenue collectors , H.R.Harmers in L.A.Calif has a stamp auction and about twenty-five lots of country revenue collections went up for auction .The only country lots that I was interested in was FIUME which went for $1200.00 and Egypt for $800.00 .I only purchase regular collection stuff . But it would of been interested to view many of those revenue lots, and maybe see stuff that comes on the market once every ten years .

In 1949, Vietnam became an Associated State of the French Union in French Indochina, under the leadership of Bao Dai. The Republic of South Vietnam was formed in 1955.

This revenue stamp is from the first set of eight Fiscal revenue stamps issued in 1952 by the new State of Vietnam. Not truly scarce, but probably worth a little more attached to the actual document.

I believe that this document represents a tax of some sort on the amount of $60 piasters. Looks like it was issued in February of 1954. But that's about all I can make out.

I was wondering if there is someone whose French is a little better, that can tell me what type of transaction this receipt represents.
