I think I may be nearing the end of sorting the never ending envelopes full of stamps from everywhere. At least that is how it is feeling. Cool thing though, while looking up some stamps for countries, I'm reading some fascinating things. Enjoying the history at least. Wanted to share some more so here we go. Enjoy, I hope!

wannahocalugie, I will alert you that your two DDR 20 pfg surcharge on 24 pfg stamps are, in fact, two different stamps. I will leave it to you and your catalog to figure it out.

I enjoy the historical aspect as well. The 5-year plan stamps that many of the Communist countries made are particularly interesting, as we can look back with 20/20 hindsight and judge for ourselves how successful they were (or weren't). But look how happy, successful, and beautiful all the workers are!
