It appears the left edge Is marked with a dashed line and rouletted? Wording on the bottom left has been interrupted. The word at the top'Belasting' translates to tax. The date stamp looks to be done by a simple hand stamp. Any idea about the crest and wording below it? Any information would be appreciated. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I believe they are not railway tax stamps but 'exchange revenue stamps' They all seem to be poorly (?) perforated. The wording on the stamp is "Belasting der Nederlanden" or in English " Revenue of The Netherlands "

Excellent responses everyone! A very nice image of the coat of arms and motto Vayolene!! I agree these seem to be both the right half of a two part stamp. Wondering if these are all overprinted on a blank stamp? I see the one posted by Vayolene is Year dated 1917 in small numerals at the top. Mine likely the same but can't make out the right numbers due to the cancel date stamp 1930. |

The repeated words below the coat of arms and motto "beurs belasting" translate to stock market tax I believe? |

Here are both halves: Apparently the buyer and seller each put a half on their receipt. Jan |

Thanks Jan! Makes sense why the need for the double stamp. Kind of like the raffle tickets we use in Canada. Imagine the MNH would be hard to find. Any idea what the figure is on the left side? |

On the stamp it is correctly spelled as Koninkrijk.
The bottom of the I and bottom end of the j are very close together there is only a very small space in between. |

The figure on the left side is most likely Mercury, god of commerce and finance. |
