I came across this nice looking stamp with purple "SPECIMEN" marking. I found the Specimen listing for revenues in my Scott US Specialized and this wasn't listed, does this mean it's fake?

Thanks

Ken

it appears to be a type g or h handstamp. a measurement would confirm this. Jim Lee, Richard Friedberg or Eric Jackson would be the best sources to pose your question to.

This is a known but non listed specimen on R16, I found a simular example in the Cunliffle sale, lot 74, back in June 2008. The Cunliffe sale copy had a PF certificate 66723, and sold for $240. plus the tip.

Ken if you submit this to the PF and get a good cert. it would them become a candidate for a Scott listing. mentioning the 666723 item on the form will aid the process at the PF.
