Hi KG5 If you are not learning, you are not growing Great Scan Phantasmagorical postmark Sir, a little bewdy. Unfortunately South Australia so I have no compendium, I'll ask at our stamp club on Tuesday, answers not guaranteed. Scan hint: Rotate randomly using the FREE Google Picasa, and crop reasonably close to perfs. With your approval I'll purloin a copy of this one |

Stampboards have a "walleroo mines " postmark dated 1901 so I don't hold out a scarcity factor (due to time of operation) Your strike and impression is top class, however. |

I say this with a very humble attitude. 30 days ago [approx] I said on the welcome thread that I would explain the stamps I love to collect. For the 28 days of posting with a great deal of family help I have managed to post something every day. I had no idea at the beginning of this thread how much encouragement & help by the members of the stamp community forum family I was to be given. What a welcome! A special mention has to be given to Rod222 who has added so much spice & encouragement to this SCF thread. It is not the end of the KGVs but the main part has been completed. There is always another post. Quote: The real credit goes to the Stamp Community Forum Family for having a safe forum where people can share their information without the fear of being belittled, screamed at & bashed to a pulp by egotistical supernovas that need to squash others so that they can feel like someone I have learnt a great deal in many ways. Thanks to all. Extremely humbly. KGV |

It's nice to see you enjoying your philately KG5 That's really the sole reason we do, what we do. It's like a spoken history we hear, we see and absorb, but it is basically fruitless unless we enagage in the enjoyment of passing it on, and seeing other people have a mutual interest and joy in our passion. If you had not started the thread, I certainly wouldn't have All credit to you my friend. We just add a few spicy bits on the edges. |

KG5 Great job, this has been very interesting and informative and I look forward to more post in the future but can you give us a small hint at what you think you may be discussing ( shades, varieties etc...)? I will most certainly be following along anyway, I have enjoyed the ride. Thanks Paul

KGV-
Before this thread, basic color and denomination were enough for me, even though KGV is a big part of my collecting.
I've pulled a bunch of them out again, and this thread has become a great source of useful information.
Thanks for the time you have put into it.

Yes, well it is not part of my study KG5, I have no idea if it is helpful to you when I post it, but makes good reference material. I am glad you can make use of it. Keep up the excellent work :)
