Do you realise KG5, you can only go to 15 pages of scans, before you are sucked into a primordial vortex, rotated violently in a sanding drum to wear off the knobbly bits, strung out over a 3 epoch time warp, compressed into a nano concept deviator, where your back is sprayed with mucilage, and you are spat out as a stamp hinge. I mean, where the hell do you think all the hinges come from?

That is a relief I am on track. Beam me up Scotty! No offence taken I can clearly see my mistake. Sorry KGV |

Bravo Jubilee! You have been busy. First time I have seen the flaws "in the flesh" Please remember to give your eyes a rest every so often. Flyspecking can effect your eyesight over long periods. |

I avoid Australian KGV's like the plague as mentioned elsewhere. Flyspecking isn't my thing, but all of these are clearly visible to the naked eye, so I won't go blind just yet.

Nice I have a feeling that cover is from Ararat, Jubilee. and yes, I think you are flyspecking now Did you check for the dot centre top frame on the 3d airmails? Would be nice to see an image if it is backstamped. CV estimate? |

An almost identical cover, with registered number 2024 was sold by a dealer last year for, I believe, in excess of $500. I have an image of that for reference but can't post it for copyright reasons. I bought mine for about a quarter of that at a charity auction That probably means that 2025 is out there somewhere! And yes, the airmails are booklet stamps, although I find it really hard to get a decent image at 90kb! The dot is above the "R", almost obliterated by the postmark And the reverse: |

I agree that it is nice to see the flaws on actual stamps...it helps to clarify the old drawings/images.
Does anyone have a guess on my postmark with the "22" in the lower ring, if I may ask again so quickly? If it is a common design among more than one island or post office, so be it...thanks.
