Hi everyone, I found this intriguing sheet of stickers in a Dutch job lot, so I presume they are Dutch, but I have never seen them before. They could be Belgian as well, I suppose, but the priority mention seems rather Dutch to me. Anyway, does anyone know about these? And especially, from what era they are? Or better still: in what year they were produced or introduced? Hope so!

Indeed, yet the livery is similar. I'll not be pedantic, but await further information coming forward.

Wow! Thanks Vayolene, now I am really confused, there must be one company behind the design ? That's extraordinary.

Well, it is the European Union, after all. Sometimes it's hard to tell what's going on over there. Everything's so simple here in the U.S. |

Wow, amazing to see so many stickers from so many countries in similar style. Even outwith the EU so maybe it's more a UPU-wide design rather than one from the EU.
I would still think it's Dutch as I got it from a Dutchman who collected (Dutch only) stamps on a very basic level, and who has a business in the Netherlands for which he may well have gotten a sheet of these. As he also resides in Belgium quite a lot I wondered whether they might have been Belgian. Obviously I can't reach him at the moment, or I would have asked him. Not sure though whether he would remember. But as he has no real links to GB at all, other than the odd short holiday over there, I think we can more or less safely conclude the stickers aren't British. |

Just a thought:
Might the shape and colors simply be UPU regulated and the text part be open to the country that uses it. |

Ah, thanks for that one, so now I can be even more sure it's a Dutch sticker and not a Belgian one.
In the meantime I managed to contact the former owner who did not recall where the sheet came from, but guessed it was from his family's former company in the Netherlands, so that ties in well with my thoughts. |
