I am reintroducing myself as I am now officially a member of the forum. My name is Nora and I live in Houston, Texas area. I was recently gifted thousands of lose semi-sorted stamps from my great aunt in Mexico (border area). I immediately fell in love with the discovery, history and art of stamps. My interests (thus far) are the US, Spanish, Chinese and Mexican stamps - though I have yet to delve into the stamps from France, Italy, Hungary, Africa, Central and South American and the Caribbean. I seem to be fond of revenues, definitives, Air Mail and stamps pre-1940.
I have a lot to learn, but am excited to start this journey. My goals are to start official albums and learn to identify stamps and discover the slight nuances and unique history. long term, I would like to leave the albums to my two young sons.
