Hi everyone
I whant send some stamps for certification to the PF in N.Y.
I have two questions to fill the application properly:
On the application form there are several rows for each stamp to fill in maximum 10 rows.
Now on the PF Website the secretary of the expertizing comittee wrote, that for each stamp I must fill out one application.
I don't understand that? So if I have three stamps I must print three applications and complete this? How you handle it (look at the picture of the application form below)?
Second
"We cannot begin to process your item without both copies of the form. The pink form, after numbering, becomes a permanent part of the file for your item. The blue form (or the duplicate you submit with the signed original) is returned to you as a receipt for the item you have submitted. "
that I must sent them one copy for each filled out application is clear, but where is the pink form (I can only print the blue form from the PF website)?
That would be bad for them if I sent them the blue form with enclosed copie in black and white of the filled out blue form?
Thanks so much for your advices.

Stamphunter1. You can list multiple stamps on each row of the application sheet not one stamp to each sheet.
You just need to submit 2 sheets to the PF. I always copy the original sheet x2 and keep a copy for myself.
Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot Black Jack for your insightful response.
that's how I wanted to do it but I was insecure because on the PF site it's written othwerwise.

Can I ask you how you posted your stamp with fedex from switzerland to New York? insured package declared with goods (stamps)?
Or just declared as documents?

Dan

You would need private insurance. FedEx does not insure philatelic items. I have found FedEx to be extremely safe, expensive though usually worth the money. Registered mail from outside the US often gets hung up in the USPO and customs even though there is no indemnity for the item once it hits the USPS. A package sent to me from Sweden arrived in Chicago the day after it was mailed. It made it from Chicago to PO Box 45 days later.
