Anyone tried to find paper to match Scott Specialty?

I am looking to print a couple more Stiener album pages but wanted to try a different paper color. I went to the local paper distributor who has a sample room with thousands of options. None were exact match for Scott Specialty (although I have different shades of Scott, too). The pics don't do color justice but cream is slightly lighter while ivory is close but less tan (than vintage Specialty pages)....ivory is close to my newer Specialty pages with the Scott numbers.

80# Baronial Ivory Classic Crest Text
80# Classic Cream Classic Crest text
80# Natural Environment text

I also have tried the pages printed by albumpages.net which are nice but a notably lighter cream (my lower left International sized page example).

Old Scott pages tend to match the paper color of vintage stamps which gives the page a nice antique sophisticated look. White shows great contrast to vintage stamps and provides a white base reference. Modern stamps on white paper tend to blend into the white pages and look more striking in black mounts. White also looks a bit home-made and it shows color transfer from the stamps easily & wear. I like white, however, for the plain base and good contrast to vintage stamps.

I have a die for die-cutting the rectangular holes and I like the green specialty binders the best although 3-ring specialty binders have an advantage in insert pages and laying flat. 2-post seem lower priced and more available used.

Interesting info. Thanks, Quannah.

Next to all the ivory and cream, that 100# white sticks out like a sore thumb.

The color difference between white and all the different variations of cream/ivory used in stamp albums is a real shock when compared side-by-side. When you put a stamp on the white you get a real appreciation for the color of the paper. Classic stamps really stick out on white as shown below. They blend better with cream/ivory and modern white stamps stand out better. I think I like the vintage look of tan Scott vs. the new look of my ivory pages. I can't believe I'm nit picking so much on paper color.

All the paper I'm considering is "archival" grade beyond just acid free.
