I like my stamps and I get great pleasure and relation looking through them. I seek more meaning about the history behind them and I realize that no one person could learn it all. This hobby is the smartest and most challenging hobby. It is the baseball of hobby's
that is very smart and intriguing
So my questions are about flawed stamps. Not collector plate flaws but just plain flaws. In example, a torn corner, missing perfs, a folded stamp. I do not care about the glue fad but some do. The flawed stamps have so much to teach and I keep them in a flawed stamp notebook. Just an inch wide with paper punched typing paper for leaves. I hinge them if they can take it. Or place them in old rough mounts. I use a mix of hinge and mounts. I would say, don't burn old stamp. Grade old stamps, [1,2,3,4...] and keep them accordingly
I am going to make a light-weigh folding room divider with a collage of pictures from magazines and such and stamps. OK
what do I brush over my collage to seal it? Mine will have a base of cardboard. And, would you mount a folded stamp in your album?
