I've found a small stamp collection of my grandfathers. Some are marked with identifying papers. These however were found in another envelope. Any ideas of what I'm looking at here as far as how rare?

Mike, you are looking at two examples of Scott #65, issued 1861. Old, but quite common.

I also have these which say they are a177 #613. From what I read that's a very slim chance. Wondering if someone can clear that up from a picture.

You can't tell from the pictures, but you can tell from your brief story about them that they are not. Your grandfather would have had documentation, certs, letters, or there would be mention of these specific stamps in philatelic literature if they were 613s. Nobody would find rarities like a 613 and do nothing with it.
