I consider myself just a simple "stamp collector" with an affection towards philatelic literature. It is the joy of discovering answers to questions that arrive during day to day collecting. It is on the shoulders of these fellows, I stand and on which makes my hobby so much more enjoyable. I was bitterly regretting only yesterday, the unavailability of a work of Victorian (Australia) postmarks. Valued at $300 + ship, it prevents me appreciating and working on the discipline. Ergo, I do not form much interest in Victorian philately.
This also begs the question, when most of us here are ashes to ashes, dust to dust, what will happen to "Stampsmarter" how does one promote longevity on digital information?
