Australian wants to purchase from ebay.com with no USA address? Have been searching for many items that are on ebay.com but as an Australia ebay buyer I can not purchase any items from ebay.com. Plus there are other countries that I would also like to purchase from. Have tried to find the listing, even copy & pasted the listing title but no go. Anyone have an answer to this issue?

Are you running into sellers who won't ship to Australia?
I'd offer to help, but my U.S. address is an APO, which would be far more effort and risk than it's worth. |

I don't understand, I have more regular Australian customers than any other country. |

I'm not understanding the problem here. Anyone from any country can purchase on ebay.com unless an individual seller doesn't ship to Australia. |

Will try and be a bit clearer. Got on to ebay.com (US) found 5 items from different US sellers on .com but I was refused to finish the transaction because I did not have a US address. There was no way I could join ebay.com as I did not have a US address So I tried to copy & paste the title into ebay.com.au but the listings would not show up for me. Can not sign up as a seller or as a buyer. There was a time that I both sold & purchased from ebay.com no worries. |

Because the seller doesn't ship to AU, that's the way it's designed to work. If the US seller ships to AU you'll see it on ebay AU. |

Now as I remember back some years I was kicked out of ebay.com as a seller because I was an "Alien". Our ebay.com store was going OK, no issues, everything at 100%. At the same time all the info to change over to ebay.com.au appeared. So I did a clean swap to ebay Australia. It took years to get my sales back up again after the change. Back then I tried to see if my listing would show up on ebay.com but there was no sign of any of my listings on ebay.com. All this could of been around 7 years ago. Can remember a couple more years later our member (AU) Duncan who sells covers was able to join ebay.com as a seller & buyer. So am not getting it! |

So I went into ebay .com with the link here on SCF. But was refused entry as it kept defaulting to ebay.com.au. So started to try and join .com again and received more info this time. The issue was that I was already a member of .com. Changed my password and have just purchased the 5 items from different sellers on .com using my cart as normal with an Australia address. So if I did not already have an account to .com where would I be now trying to purchase on .com? That was a very strange experience. |

You don't need to "join" ebay.com if you are already a member on ebay.com.au. If U.S. sellers ship to Australia, you will see the listings on ebay.com.au. If a seller doesn't ship to Australia, "joining" ebay.com won't solve that problem. |

Stamp dealers may be reluctant to ship to Australia because ebay is now required to collect tax. I am not sure it is safe to send stamps by First Class Mail International now that ebay has added tax information to the delivery address. UPU regulations forbid sending merchandise by first class mail. Out of an abundance of caution, I sent the most recent order to Australia using the stamps.com international flat service. This raised the cost of mailing from $1.36 to about $7. While it is still possible to send stamps under the radar by first class mail and get away with it, I am not sure it is worth the potential hassle. It is very unfortunate that the UPU has found such an effective way to potentially shut down international stamp sales. |

Now with the taste of success in my mouth, my mind is working overtime about my ebay.com.au listings not showing up on ebay.com.as I had the impression that my listings would be as a seller of Australia stamps. How do I get my .com.au listings to show up on .com? Can I list the item twice? The answer must be no! So can it be done that I have the one listing but it clearly shows up on .com , .com.co UK & .com.NL as well + other countries. As a seller I have a lot of Australia kiloware on paper and listing it on more than one ebay country is really very attractive. Our kiloware is being very slow to sell. Have enough, under 45c, 45c, 50c, 55c, 60c, 65c & mixed kiloware on paper to have multiable listings the same on 3 or 4 other ebay countries ebay's. But I have a really nice very hard to come by listing of 4.5kg Australia $1 sheet stamps only just sitting as a .com.au listing only.It is now very obvious that my listings are not getting the outside Australia viewings that is very much needed to sell Australia kiloware. Anyone got any ideas about listing the same lot on multi ebay county listings? |

Very much appreciate the comments. Thank you all. Have just book marked my ebay.com membership link with my new password that is different to my ebay.com.au account. So I have been searching ebay.com.au with the world wide button turned on and now I find out it does not do what it it should do. No world wide anything. As a seller & buyer that stinks. |

John, with respect, you are a most intriguing fellow. On the one hand, I see you as an ebay marketing expert, then this? I really don't understand your experience. I have been a member of ebay dot com dot au for years. If I type in "France collection" I get listings from all over the world. If you find a lot that you wish to bid on, check "postage and payments" to find out if they exclude Australia |

Have just finished a live chat to ebay.com.au. They confirmed my listing could not be seen in .com. And I can not list the same item on 2 different ebay's. Their only suggestion was to relist the lot on .com next if it does not sell on com.au. Both my issues have been recognised by ebay. We do not get all other world listings when we think we are. They proved it by trying to paste all of my listing title and it did not come up on .com or.co Interesting. Will sure be listing my 7 different abundant amount of Australia dec kiloware on at least 4 ebay's now. I have the stock so why not. So another question comes to mind. Does all this mean that my BIN relistings been taken down world wide because of so many relistings with zero sales? |
