Hi - I came across this #235 with an O.B. overprint on piece and wonder if the overprint itself is authentic. Anyone see anything unusual here. Not sure if there is much value to it or not since the U.S. Specialized only describes these as locally hand-stamped for official mail. Thanks!

Looks genuine to me.

Update:
These can only be distinguished as "Genuine" when existing on cover, showing actual use, and authority of user

Thanks Rod222. Godd to know. It's on piece but that's a far cry from a full cover. Guess I'll hinge it in the margin of the US possessions page.

I mount all mine on 1 page, genuine or otherwise.
As long as we are aware of the dictum of the catalogue, we can let others
make their own choice.
