No, I do not believe this stamp to be the third known used copy of Scott 361. |

What is and how strong is the watermark on your stamp? When you back light it, does the watermark appear extremely strong or is it difficult to see? |

I might flip the query around and ask you why you think that it is.
For me the blue shade is wrong. The odds also extremely disfavor it being a 361 and the probability does mean something.
Edit: It would be very useful if you scanned the stamp against an orange background. |

And it would be helpful to be alongside a normal paper example as well. Scan the back of both together. |

blue paper stamps are actually grey. they also have very strong watermarks. poor wiping of the plate will also give a blue paper look to the front. both rodgcams and revcollector's method sugguestions are the way to go |

Are you sure the blue you are seeing isn't setoff? In any case, 361 is valuable enough that, if you are convinced of its identity, you should have it certified. Personally, I side with others in this thread … highly unlikely that it is a 361, if for no other reason than the probability against "finding one in the wild". But I wish you luck … it would be nice to actually see a rarity uncovered for a change. |

"This is clearly blue paper".
Then send it to the PF for a cert. It does not appear to be one on my screen, but they will be able to tell you for sure. |
