If you are wondering about the difference in color, I would say that the right hand stamp has chemical damage.

Hint at the first step with the Stampsmarter site: You have 2 different catalog numbers, differing by perforation rate. Let us know what you determine and we can confirm/correct your conclusions.

I think that these are two different stamps entirely. A different issue.
