@lithograving, I have some plate flaws from this series, but they are not mentioned in Michel (not all plate flaws are mentioned)
Do you know of a group interested in determining if they are constant plateflaws or just printing defects?
An example with a stamp from this series-Michel # 8vv type I:
Color spot in the tower on the right, field 100

Some of your Plate Flows could be found in Philotax catalog. For example, Rheinland-Pfalz Mi#8 with color spot described as "RP008-XX02 / 8 PF II ".
Price: Mint 6.0; Used 8.0 Field#100

@cupram

I don't know of any groups like that. The only specialists are you, hornet785
and bookbndrbob.
BTW do you you know what happened to bookbndrbob.
He hasn't been on SCF in 2 years and was a prolific poster for years.

For your 24Pf color spot in the tower on the right, field 100 ( wouldnt that be
the left tower ?) Michel has PFII "Ballon" im linken grossen Turm (Feld 100 Teilaufl.)
Balloon on the large left tower (Field 100 part of the print run)

On my lower right block of 15 FZRP # 8 I found no plateflaws listed in Michel but
on position 89 is this bow like scratch in the sky.
I suppose this would be a printing defect.

@lithograving, thanks for the 24Pf stamp - it's the left tower - and I don't know how I didn't see the mention in Michel.
I don't know anything about "bookbndrbob" but maybe with your new posts he will appear too.
I found an ad on "Philotax" but unfortunately I can't register (I get a 404 Error)

I don't think I will buy plattenffehler Katalog and I hope you can help me with the information from your catalog if I find any more plate flaws.

Cupram, I have DVD Catalog "Alliierte Besetzung 1945-1949". It describes practically all Michel Varieties and also some extras (all with images).

@igopp, thank you, another help in case I find more plate flaws.
For the 1945 series, the Berlin Bear, I found on the net and in catalogs specialized in plate flaws at least double that of Michel.

Philaseiten.de is a German stamp website which has many threads about "Plattenfehler" (=plate flaws).
Of course it's almost entirely in German but with google translate and searching for "Plattenfehler" gets you to the threads.

There are various books about the subject, for example
https://www.arge-württemberg.de/de/shop/produkte/2080_Plattenfehler-HB.php
(again, German...the Umlaut kills the link....)

There are so-called ARGEs in Germany dealing with various aspects of German stamps. All of which have chapters on "Plattenfehler". For example this one:
https://www.arge-alliierter-kontrollrat.de/
(again, you guessed it by now, German..)
