Hi lithograving,

Yes, so Mi.Nr.920a HAN 4056.46 1 Position 65.

Perf error start at 50 Euro to +- 200 depends on type. Yours is at the bottom but a bit more than 50.

This is a very good partial sheet. You have other PLF if you can find them :)

Thanks again for your info Hornet.
So the Michel 920a means colour is dunkelgrau bis dunkeltürkisgrau
which has the lowest value of any of the 4 colour types.

As for.....

I've been looking over this partial sheet until my eyes got
batty but I can't spot any plate flaws.

I have a few more partial sheets of the Allied Control Council issue where
my 2018 Deutschland-Spezial shows no plate flaws.

For instance this partial sheet of Michel 924 has at least 3 stamps with
some sort of obvious printing flaw.
Are they constant plate flaws or one of a kind printing defects?
Also since both left and right sheet edges have been torn off I don't know
the field/position numbers.

Row 6 damaged zero

Row 9 damaged numeral 2

Row 10 damaged G and notch in outer oval frame line

Hi lithograving,

920 is the PLF but your arrow hides the secondary feature. :)

924 no luck, printing defects..

That Rheinland-Pfalz Michel 10 has more flaws than you can shake a stick at.

Getting back to Allied Control Council Michel 924.
From the four shades given in the catalogue I think only a or
b applies to that partial block.

a) bright greenishblue up to blackish light turquoise-blue

b) cyanblue

I have a block of 6 which was probably from the larger partial sheet
and scanned it together with a single from the set I had in a stockbook
to compare.

To me it looks like the single could be a) greenish blue
while the block is just blue making it b) cyanblue

Then again I had cataract surgery a few months ago and maybe my colour
percetion perception is off.

When it comes to color a BPP cert is the way to go for certain color like blue.

924 has only 6 PLF on BZ...

This one from 5555 li ug position 75 (So may be check your large part sheet)

Like I mentioned before I don't know if the columns torn off were from the left or
right side so going down to row 8 and 5th one in there are some white spots but not
the same as on your example.

Allied Control Council
