Close examination beneath cancellation shows the stamp left Printers as is. Any thoughts/scans welcomed ?

Rod222,

Sorry for delay replying, this PC Hard Drive blew/melted 2 hair thin copper tracks on HD circuit board....'catastrophic failure', replaced it & seems OK.

Stamp Identity.... Inverted C of A - Ash printing, Perf' 13˝ x 12˝. 1.5 Billion printed. I was simply hoping no one would suggest the stamp is a 'Tin Shed' flaw. After a magnified look under the cancellation I eliminated spilt/splashed gum producing T.S. flaw post submersion in water.(imo) There might be similar resting in collections.

Right,
that's much better, and more professional.
So, Starting with Scott
Sc#116 2d Die ll red/scarlet Type A4 CV:25c 1931-1936

Transferring that to ACSC Page 4/240
My guess ACSC 103Ba Inverted Wmk Type 6 CV$3

All I can see, is maybe 103F (scratch below right wattles)
Note: Inverted Wmk only exists from Booklets

Loss of Impression
I have no idea, we shall have to let the experts comment.
I have probably a few hundred, I'll have a look through my duplication.
Best I can do.

Result
Sc#116 I have 16 pages of 2d Scarlets = 350 Stamps
Possibly 30 Inverted watermarks
None show loss of Impression.
(Agreed that is not a good representation of 1.5 Billion stamps)

I respect your opinion, but it is not a conclusion I would make.
I am always cautious using "used stamps" as indications of print flaws.
Use at your peril.
