What is it now and where is it now?
This stamp was canceled in KESTENHOLZ, Germany in 1875.
But I can't find a Kestenholz in Germany now, nor do any of my sources identify a German Kestenholz that is now renamed and in another country.
Can anyone help me with this puzzler? My thanks in advance.

It's Châtenois, in the Alsace region of France. It was called Kestenholz when Germany possessed Alsace.
