The 2 overprints are identical forgeries.Most of these originated from Nouméa.Many were made by postal workers at the time and put into the philatelic market by different intermediaries.The cancels look genuine.The cancel with 'AFFRANCHISEMENTS' above is a scarce type.
So we can say the genuine stamp has a forged overprint with a genuine cancel!

In the genuine, the last 'E' is more squarish.The two small 'll 'above with the = below is not conform in the forgery.
There exists in rarer genuine overprints: the final 'E' that is broken.
